Join us for breakfast and professional advancement as Goldie Floberg CEO John Pingo presents as part of the Stateline Chamber of Commerce Sunrise Seminars educational series:

“What’s all this Mindfulness Business?”

A quick search of “mindfulness” in the Harvard Business Review turns up 43 results in the past two years with article titles such as:

“Spending 10 Minutes a Day on Mindfulness Subtly Changes the Way You React to Everything”
“How Mindfulness Helped a Workplace Diversity Exercise”
“Mindfulness Can Improve Strategy, Too”
“How Mindfulness Improves Executive Coaching”
“Just 6 Seconds of Mindfulness Can Make You More Effective”
“Why Google, Target, and General Mills Are Investing in Mindfulness”

Why is mindfulness the new “it” practice for fortune 500 companies? Because it works! Developing and practicing mindfulness related skills have been empirically shown to improve mental and physical health as well as work performance. Mindfulness involves a small set of easy to learn skills that with practice and dedication, will improve your life. The good news is that you don’t have to retire to a Tibetan monastery for years to learn how to use mindfulness skills. This short, fun seminar will give you the basic skills you need to live and work in a more mindful manner.
