Goldie’s very own President/CEO, John Pingo received the Champion Award at the IARF Educational Conference and Expo in Springfield, IL. The Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities assists in the development and improvement of services to Illinois rehabilitation facilities. The IARF is also dedicated to improving services to clients and patients of those facilities through study, experiment, and exchange of experience. The Champion Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates a commitment to the values and mission of the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Association. John has done work with IARF’s person centered practices initiatives and serves as a chair on the Children and Youth Committee. John presented the first IARF Ignite presentation and is an outstanding advocate to legislators on behalf of people with disabilities and those that serve them. We are extremely proud of John and agree that he is quite the champion!
