Goldie Floberg is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Eggers, Jr., of Rockford, IL, to the Goldie Floberg Board of Directors.

Gordon Eggers, Jr., brings almost 40 years of healthcare and related leadership experience, to his appointment to the Goldie Floberg Board of Directors. Eggers retired as President and CEO of Crusader Community Health, Rockford, in 2020. His current and previous affiliations include board of directors’ roles with Golden Apple Foundation, United Way of Rock River Valley, and recognition for achievements from the National Association of Community Health Centers, Illinois Primary Healthcare Association, and the “Paragon Award for Service to the Underserved:” American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Eggers states, “Goldie Floberg is an exceptional organization with a very important mission. I’m honored to follow in the footsteps of my family and join their great board of directors.”

Gordon Eggers represents the third generation of his family to volunteer and serve on the board of directors for the organization. “Gordon’s healthcare leadership experience and understanding of the needs of the population served by Goldie Floberg will be an asset to our organization in the years to come,” said John Pingo, Ph.D.., of Eggers’ appointment. “We are honored that he will be continuing the legacy of his mother, Georganne Eggers, in supporting the Goldie Floberg mission in our community.”
