Part-time & Full-time in Children’s and Adult’s Program Children’s Program Requirements: must be at least 18 years of age, must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, must have at minimum a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a standard DCFS background check, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Candidate must possess patience and a pleasant personality and exhibit regular and predictable attendance. DSP’s will serve as primary direct care staff for an assigned number of children with developmental disabilities. Essential functions are to ensure safety, accurately implement all written treatment plans for assigned clients, and perform life skills training with clients. Adult’s Program Requirements: must be at least 18 years of age, must have valid driver’s license, must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, have high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a standard DCFS background checkand must participate with Self-scheduling consisting of the ability to work all shifts as needed in the CILA locations, ability to work as a team to cover all shifts at the CILA site which includes dividing all overtime, up to 6 additional shifts per pay period, (part-time and temporary staff according to work agreement), and the ability to assist team members with trading or picking up additional shifts to cover illnesses, emergencies, etc. |
